INSPIRATION AND MISSION

Natalia’s inspiration to become an acupuncturist started with the seed of always wanting to help people. She wished to be in a health care profession that used a garden of modalities to heal and help restore a person’s imbalances, prevent disease, and increase their overall well-being. She began her career as an acupuncturist in 2008. She studied Engineering at University of Illinois from 1998-2002 and earned a Bachelors in Business Management from University of Illinois in 2003.

She started her acupuncture journey as a student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and as an acupuncture apprentice at the Circle of Living in San Diego, CA studying under the Kastner Team. It was here that she worked for 4 years as she developed a love for Orthopedics. During that time, the clinic saw a number of professional athletes as well as the everyday exercisers who came in with many musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

After passing her National Board Certification, Natalia moved back to her home state of Illinois. She began to practice at Elite Rehab Institute in Oak Park, IL with a team of Chiropractors, Physical Therapist and Massage Therapists. Natalia worked at Elite for nearly 8 years before going into private practice.

Natalia is also a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncturist and her passion is to help others balance their mind, body and spirit through holistic healing.

In a society that is over-stressed, over-worked, and depleted of the care that’s right for them, Roots Wellness Center speaks loudly by integrating Chinese Medicine, Exercise Physiology, and Western Medicine.
